Thomas Shull is editor-at-large of The UnPopulist and survey research director for ISMA. His career as a writer, editor, and analyst has included serving on the editorial board of The Detroit News, working as a senior analyst on the former NBC/Wall Street Journal Survey of public opinion, and acting as senior editor, and later as senior director of research quality, at the Mackinac Center for Public Policy in Michigan.
